Visiting Pre-Columbian Populations

FULLDAY TOUR PRE-COLUMBIAN POPULATIONS

In the rural area belonging to the pre-Columbian Kekoldi population we visit a family who, full integrating with the surrounding natural world, is dedicated to the protection of the green iguana, a reptile in danger of extinction in Central America.

Then we head to a farm of the Bri-Bri ethnic group to understand the local lifestyle, characterized by the use of cocoa – a plant considered sacred, used for the production of artisanal chocolate – and plants both for medicinal products, as well as for the production of fabrics.

Finally, we take a walk in the middle of nature and if we wish, we take a natural shower under the water of the waterfalls. Lunch included. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
