HALF DAY TOUR LEON GASTRONOMY

Meeting in the city center at 9:30 am and let’s start the gastronomic journey. We reach a characteristic bakery where we taste freshly baked bread, made with corn flour. We make the second stop to savor one of the country’s high-quality products, a cup of coffee, one of the best in the world.

So let’s move on to take a raspado, frozen ice sweetened with syrup. Then we go to the central market where we can choose the delicious seasonal fruit.

We finish with a flourish in one of Leon’s iconic places to savor a typical dish of the Nicaraguan tradition, the bean soup. Alternatively, we can enjoy another dish dating back to the pre-Columbian Afro-Caribbean gastronomy, based on meat, yuca, and green plantain, cooked in green plantain leaves.

And of course, all accompanied by a cold beer or a soft drink!
