FULL DAY CHILDREN’S ETERNAL RAINFOREST

Visit to the children’s eternal rainforest, a private reserve located in a vast area between Monteverde and the Arenal volcano with slopes from 500 to 1,200 meters, which hosts a predominantly wooded landscape (evergreen forest, tropical humid forest and rainforest) crossed by valleys , canyons, lagoons, waterfalls, waterways that flow into both the Atlantic and the Pacific. Habitat of over 3,000 species of plants and trees, i.e. 1/3 of the flora present in the country, it hosts a particularly numerous fauna: more than 400 species of birds and over 50% of the mammals present throughout the national territory.

The forest belongs to the Monteverde Conservation Association (ACM), a Costa Rican non-profit organization that for over 30 years has tirelessly dedicated itself to the protection and restoration of the local ecosystem, practicing reforestation (to date it has planted approximately 1,600,000 trees) and the development of environmental education projects in schools and communities in northern Costa Rica.
This walk of approximately 7 km shows you the green soul of Costa Rica. Lunch included.
