Option 1: Visit to Cahuita National Park

Don’t miss this experience at Cahuita National Park and discover "the best of both worlds", the marine and the terrestrial one. Boat ride to reach the coral reef (the largest in Costa Rica), where the sea is populated by tropical fish, sharks, moray eels, lobsters, shrimps, sea turtles, crabs, sponges, algae ... (snorkeling equipment is provided). The terrestrial part of the tour takes place along the paths of the Park, in a natural setting characterized by the presence of monkeys, sloths, raccoons, snakes, anteaters, butterflies, and many species of birds.

Overnight in Puerto Viejo

Meet your shared van driver at your hotel in Puerto Viejo. Transfer for a 1-hour drive to the Panama border at Guabito/Sixaola for immigration formalities. Continue to Almirante, wait for the water taxi to Isla Colon with departures every 30 minutes, operates daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (ticket NOT included). Arrive at the dock on Isla Colon, the main island of the Bocas del Toro archipelago in the Caribbean Sea. Walk along the main street, Calle Primera, to your nearby hotel.

Overnight in Bocas del Toro

Snorkeling and beach tour. Tour language: Spanish/English. Meet our local guide at your hotel at 9:30 AM for the shared boat excursion. The tour starts at Dolphin Bay, near Isla Cristóbal, where you can see dolphins swimming near the boat.After seeing these magnificent creatures, continue to Cayo Coral for snorkeling on the coral reef among countless colorful fish, sponges, lobsters, and squid. The tour continue at Cayo Zapatilla, two islands formed by a coral platform that takes its indigenous name from a fruit that grows on them. Along the way, we will stop in the mangroves of some islets to spot sloths and colorful birds in their natural habitat. Upon reaching the beautiful white-sand beach, disembark and have time to relax in the crystal-clear Caribbean Sea. Take a 20-minute walk on a marked trail in the inland forest to see curious tropical plants, such as the eternal tree, which leads to the end of the island where loggerhead and green sea turtles use the beaches for nesting. Return to Isla Colon in the afternoon around 4:00 PM.

Overnight in Bocas del Toro

Beach tour. Tour language: Spanish/English. Meet our local guide at your hotel at 9:30 AM for the shared boat excursion to the far north of Isla Colon. The tour begins, if sea and wind conditions allow the boat to approach, with the exploration without disembarking of Isla Pajaro, also known as Swan Cay, a marine park home to numerous species of endangered birds. Next stop to Boca del Drago and Playa Las Estrellas, known for its golden beaches immersed in the lush vegetation typical of the area and for the presence of numerous starfish in the crystal-clear sea with shallow waters. Return to the hotel in the afternoon around 3:30 PM and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Overnight in Bocas del Toro

Depending on the time of flight schedule, morning or afternoon, free time before your private transfer to Isla Colon airport for your flight to Panama City. Upon arrival in Panama City, meet our local driver and private transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Panama City

Depart from the stop closest to your hotel for the hop-on hop-off tour with the distinctive red double-decker bus that allows you to visit the main points of interest in the city. The main attractions are the famous Panama Canal at the Miraflores Locks observation point, the Causeway with Biomuseum, designed by Frank Gehry, and the historic Casco Viejo district with its colonial architecture. The day ticket includes unlimited use of bus rides at the designated stops with frequencies of approximately every 60 minutes from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (PREPAID TICKET DO NOT INCLUDES ENTRANCES TO THE CANAL, BIOMUSEUM AND OTHER POINTS OF INTEREST FOR A CHARGE)

Overnight in Panama City

Check out by 12:00 PM and leave your luggage at the hotel's baggage storage for a city tour or shopping before your private transfer to Tocumen International Airport for your return flight.
