Option 1: Night tour in the cloudy forest
Monteverde represents one of the naturalistic wonders of Costa Rica, which houses the cloudy forest, a large area between 600 and 1,800 meters above sea level, characterized from a bursting flora and a variegated and populous fauna (which includes, among others, the colorful quetzal, the toucan, the bell bird, the orange-bellied trogon, the golden frog, the red-eyed frog, the puma , the jaguar, the monkey. We get to know the heart of local ecosystem by visiting a reserve covered by virgin, mountainous, and pre-mountainous forest, and crossed by paths that offer guests an extraordinary natural environment.
Option 2: Sloth tour
The Sloth Sanctuary was born through the cooperation with the Caribbean Sloth Sanctuary, a foundation that shares the vision of conservation, and has worked in the rescue, conservation, reintroduction and monitoring of sloths in your natural habitat for more than 20 years. It is a natural exhibit where sloths can travel freely between trails especially created so that they can roam among the trees and the foliage. This provides a safety distance that allows observation and, at the same time, avoid as much stress on the animals as possible. These beautiful mammals have reached the sanctuary as refugees from the effects of hunting poaching, habitat destruction, orphanages, diseases and accidents among other reasons that prevent them from being reintroduced into their natural habitat. On this guided tour you will learn about the natural history of the sloths while watching about 20 individuals of the two species that exist in our country. You will also know the mission of our sanctuary and the way in which that we collaborate to protect and preserve this emblematic species for Costa Rica.
Option 3: Coffee Tour
This tour highlights the best of Costa Rican traditions and culture, illustrating how a small seed becomes one of the most famous drinks in the world: coffee. We will discover what is hidden behind each cup of this iconic Costa Rican drink (not everyone knows that one of the best coffees in the world is produced here and that the record for the highest price on the New York Stock Exchange was broken by Costa Rican coffee) The experience will also allow us to appreciate two other fundamental products for the country, which have accompanied its development since independence: sugar cane and cocoa.

Habitat of more than 3,000 species of plants and trees, that is 1/3 of the flora present in the country, it is home to over 400 species of birds and more than 50% of mammals living in Costa Rica. Basically, a natural Paradise that we discover with our expert guide.
